Top iOS Navigation Apps in Latin America: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Latin America showed varying performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps:

Google Maps maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads initially rising to approximately 444K in mid-February before tapering off to around 263K by the end of March. The app consistently engaged a large user base, with weekly active users fluctuating slightly around 34M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 148K and ending at 86K. Despite this, the app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at nearly 11M in late February.

Google Earth saw a moderate increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of about 39K in mid-March. However, its active users showed a gradual decline from 605K to 536K by the end of the quarter.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar demonstrated a significant increase in weekly revenue, climbing steadily to approximately $5.6K by the end of March. Downloads experienced a notable peak of 40K in early February, while active users showed a recovery trend, ending the quarter at 26K.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS saw an impressive peak in weekly downloads, hitting 19K in mid-March, and maintained a consistent revenue stream, averaging around $16K per week. Active users, however, declined from 127K to 96K over the quarter.
